Upon completion, the project is expected to achieve an annual output value of 3 billion yuan, create over 300 jobs, and contribute to the city's goal of building a 10-billion-yuan new energy battery specialty town.

[250,000 mt LFP Cathode Material Project Is Expected to Commence Production] Information on the progress of Ningxia Baofeng Energy Group's first-phase 250,000 mt LFP cathode material project, scheduled for production in September 2025, has been announced. According to official disclosures, the first-phase capacity of 250,000 mt is planned to officially commence production in September 2025. The project, launched in 2023, is one of the core layouts of the Baofeng Group to extend its new energy materials industry chain. In terms of scale and investment, the total planned capacity is 1 million mt/year of LFP cathode material, to be constructed in three phases. The first phase involves an investment of approximately 15 billion yuan to build a capacity of 250,000 mt.

[Qidong City Waste Lithium Battery Comprehensive Utilization Project Arrives] Recently, the Qidong Municipal People's Government website in Jiangsu Province officially released the "Proposed Approval Public Notice for the Resource Comprehensive Utilization Expansion Project of Nantong Qingjing Renewable Resources Co., Ltd." According to the environmental impact assessment details, the core highlights of this expansion include two major components: first, the upgrade and transformation of the existing waste flux regeneration line, planning to increase the annual processing capacity from the current 180,000 mt to 210,000 mt; second, the addition of lithium battery scrap resource treatment capacity, specifically the ability to process 8,034 mt of ternary lithium battery scrap and 70,000 mt of LFP battery scrap annually.

[Hegang Scrap Lithium Battery Comprehensive Utilization Project Is Here] Recently, Heilongjiang News Network publicly released the full environmental impact report and public participation statement for the scrap lithium battery recycling project of Heilongjiang Chanlian Metal Manufacturing Co., Ltd., marking the project's official entry into the public view and its imminent launch of a green transformation journey. The project is planned to be implemented in two phases. The first phase will involve the construction of an advanced scrap lithium battery processing production line, adopting refined processes such as "inspection and warehousing, disassembly, drying, crushing and sorting, packaging," with an expected annual processing capacity of 6,000 mt, including 5,000 mt of scrap ternary lithium batteries and 1,000 mt of scrap LFP batteries. The second phase will further expand the scale by adding five production lines focused on the "crushing and sorting-packaging" stage, including three lines for scrap positive pole pieces (from scrap ternary lithium batteries) and two lines for scrap negative pole pieces, each with an annual processing capacity of 6,000 mt.

[Lianjiang County's 20,000 mt Scrap Lithium Battery Resource Recycling Project Is Here] Recently, the Lianjiang County People's Government website in Fujian province released a highly anticipated pre-approval announcement for the scrap lithium battery resource recycling project of Fujian Qianyu Materials Technology Co., Ltd. The project construction will proceed orderly in two phases. The first phase focuses on building a mechanical and physical crushing and sorting workshop for scrap lithium batteries, with a designed annual processing capacity of 20,000 mt of scrap lithium batteries and pole piece scrap. The second phase will concentrate on establishing a wet-process production line workshop for battery materials. Upon full completion, the project is expected to process 20,000 mt of scrap lithium batteries and pole piece scrap annually.

[150,000 Sets of Retired Vehicle Power Battery Pack Comprehensive Utilization Project Is Here] Recently, relevant websites released the first public participation notice for the environmental impact assessment of the "Green Dismantling, Energy Saving, Emission Reduction, and Recycling Reuse of Vehicle Power Battery Packs Project" by Shandong Yuandong Future Low-Carbon Technology Co., Ltd. Located in the Jindong Industrial Park, Jinxiang County, Jining City, Shandong province, the project has a grand planned capacity, expected to green dismantle and recycle 50,000 sets of retired vehicle power battery packs annually and produce 100,000 sets of second-life application products.
